Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Quality Assurance (QA)

Our experienced Quality Inspectors work closely with the quarry owners and manufacturing teams to explain detailed requirements, including dimensions, finishes, and technical specifications. Before production begins, they verify that all machinery used for polishing and cutting is functioning properly, ensuring optimal quality control from the outset. This strict exercise includes ensuring that the diamond blades used for cutting the marble are not old and will not chip the edges.

Quality Control (QC)

Once production is underway, our inspectors verify that the cut tiles match the approved control samples, paying special attention to the background shade and ensuring there are no manufacturing defects such as cracks or chipped edges, prior to overseeing the packing of the tiles carefully into fumigated wooden boxes with styrofoam separators and plastic sheeting between tiles therefore ensuring protection during transportation and offloading at the destination site.

We take additional precautions to ensure that each shipment is insured against any unexpected damage during transit, guaranteeing complete client satisfaction upon delivery.

Policies

At Marble Art Global, we have built a reputation as a professional, disciplined, punctual, and reliable supplier of high-quality natural stone worldwide. However, we continually strive to enhance our services, and our policies are central to achieving these goals.

Environmental Policy

Sustainability is a key concern in today’s construction industry, and being environmentally friendly is a major element of this. Natural stone is the original “green” building material, but we go further by adhering to internationally recognized environmental standards through the following measures:

  • We work with quarry owners who minimize pollution by recycling water used for stone cutting and manage waste emissions with little or no environmental impact
  • We partner with quarries that reforest closed sites, contributing to environmental restoration
  • We encourage designers and clients to specify tile dimensions that maximize slab usage and minimize waste
  • We train employees and educate all stakeholders on how to conserve the environment during the entire natural stone supply process
  • We reduce our carbon footprint by efficiently planning shipments and using the least possible number of containers for transportation from abroad

Health and Safety Policy

The safety of our staff is a top priority. We are committed to ensuring that injuries are prevented at all costs by following strict health and safety measures:

  • Our Quality Inspectors and Supervisors, whether at the quarry manufacturing plants or on construction sites, are fully trained in health and safety procedures through certified training programs
  • We ensure that all staff members work in safe environments, regardless of their location
  • Every staff member is insured and trained to provide assistance to others in case of accidents, ensuring that those affected can reach appropriate health authorities at the earliest
  • Our team on construction sites is always equipped with the necessary protective gear, including safety helmets, gloves, vests, and boots
  • We promptly address any potential safety/health hazards with quarry owners or main contractors to prevent hazards
