Quartzite
Quartzite is a natural stone that should not be confused with factory-made quartz surfaces (engineered stone) composed of resin, stone chips, and quartz grains. Unlike those synthetic products, quartzite is a metamorphic rock that formed naturally about 1.5 billion years ago when sandstone in contact with deeply buried magma, under heat and pressure fused with sparkly crystals. Known for its remarkable durability and unique sparkle, quartzite is a favorite for kitchen countertops and decorative surfaces due to its stunning appearance and long-lasting properties.

Durability and Density
Quartzite being one of the most beautiful natural stones, makes it an ideal choice for kitchen top surfaces or wall cladding in receptions or kitchen/bar counters.
Its extreme density also makes it highly resistant to damage, heat, and wear.
Due to its exquisite appearance, quartzite can be on the higher end of the price spectrum, especially for premium varieties quarried in regions known for their quality deposits such as Brazil.
